had the 23.5 twin outboards great boat had it on a big lake in nh to hard to spell lol anyway 2' chop ok 3' chop no good also when big waves would kick up i would get wet trying to go slow awesome boat balls to the wall under 60 mph not so good

I currently own a 1997 jet and use it on havasu. A great boat that rides much better than any v hull of same size. Yes "river chop" would be no issue but big rollers might. I've used mine in some big waters but I do have a lot of cat experience.
All in all it's a great boat and I have now owned two

always heard the jets were better balanced than the outboards

Most of the time it's be 1-2' chop unless a south wind kicked in. Just looking at doing a small project boat and adding some more fun to the fleet. Always wanted one be it Eliminator or Liberator, etc..
Are the insurance companies easy to work with on these smaller outboard powered pickle forks?

I had a 21 with an outboard--it was one of the most fun boats we've ever own. Top speed was about 85. (owned 3, 19 Daytona's, a 21 Daytona, a twin 22 Daytona and current 25 Daytona I/O)

Big rollers in that boat are a blast. We would look for the huge wakes and hit them about 40-50mph with a little up trim. Kids loved it.

Perfect lake river boat....ocean, not so much:rolleyes::rolleyes:, I know.

I have a 21 Liberator and its ok in big water I get sprayed a lot but it might be different with a Eliminator??
but with 2's as long as you go the right speed so it would ride over it all.

Hey guys.
Any deals out there on a 21ft Daytonna or just a hull/project boat.
Interested in one with outboard or hull only
Thanks
