28 low profile
 
not sure if this has been a post yet but had a couple questions. I own a 27 foot fountain with a 496 right now. i am contemplating selling it and getting a 28 low profile with a 500hp in it. How do the 2 compare? How does the 28 handle the rough water compared to a 27 fountain? What boat is a better handling boat? We do several poker runs like the emerald coast, tickfaw 200 and others. I want to make sure i do not regret moving from my fountain to the 28 low profile. Any information would be great.

when I was looking for another boat I have looked at 28 LP but coming from a 32 hustler I feel unsafe in the boat as you sit very high due to the low profile and that it s a cat .
How ever the lines are great and the gelcoat is unreal even on those older boats .

thats why I chose for a little bigger and normal profile
