I bought a 26' Daytona with twin 6.2 MerCruisers.
Love the boat!

What year had twins in a 26? That thing must be real stern heavy.

It is a 2002 26 and not stern heavy at all. Pops right up on a plane really fast. Nice combination, and easy on fuel, 10 GPH total for both!

any pictures of the boat and the engine compartment?
what HP and what speeds are you seeing?

The engines are Mercruiser 6.2's (377" small block Chevy's) 320 HP each and I get 80 mph and it seems to be burning 10 GPH total for both engines.
Really nice combination.

You are stern heavy.
I had 650 HP in my 2001 26 single engine and got 94 MPH
I now have 800 + HP and have seen 112 GPS with 3/4 tanks.

10 gph at what rpm and mph?

That 10 GPH is figured the average per tank full. I calculate my hours and gallons at every fill up and log it and do the math so it is an overall average including idleing in and out of harbors. I typically cruise at around 3,000-3,500 RPM which is 40-60 MPH. Top speed is 5,100 RPM and that gives me 80 MPH.
