Excalibur 40 Center Console questions

Could any of the Excalibur guru's answer a couple of quick questions for me?

What is the beam of the Excalibur 40 Open Sport ---I think this is the official name of the model.

What is the weight of one of these things?

Can anyone decipher a HIN for me? It is WELH0050M884F-40

Supposedly it is an Excalibur, but was caught up being finished and rigged during/after the aquisition by Wellcraft, and Wellcraft changed the HIN on it.

Anything else in general information would be great to know as well. Good points, bad points, things to be aware of...

Thanks in advance!

I think it was the 40 hawk hull. Should be a 9ft beam, and 22deg deadrise.

Thank you. I think 9 feet sounds right.
Weight is guessing between 8,000 and 10,000 lbs.
The one I have come across has 2 (converted from a triple) 225 EFI Optimax on a new Stainless Marine bracket.
Claims a best top speed of 55MPH, but I find that very hard to believe.

I cant imagine it running 55 with 2x225. I have seen a couple of these for sale and would love to have one.

I ran the HIN and it came back as being to long. Needs to be 12 characters not 15. This is through Boat history report.com
