Could this be a Excalibur from the 70s
3 Attachment(s)
I am considering buying this boat, but I will like to know
what I am buying:D |
upper right side corner on the transom what does it say?
|
If you thinking of hin code it do not exist, the hull is from late 70s. Thats why it is hard to tell what boat this is
|
What's the length...measure it with a tape to be sure.
|
It's one of the old 24's, looks just like mine. My guess is a pnd or an excalibur because of the volvo to mercruiser plate on the transom. PnD's and excaliburs put volvo's up to small blocks for these boats. That's what mine originally had in it.
|
What kind of boat is pnd???
|
identical boat as an excalibur
|
Excalibur1979
Do you hav pics of your boat ?? |

Its also somewhere in the hull in the front inside the cabin. |
I have asked the owner and he cliams there are no hin code
on this boat. But from what i have been seeing so far I think it must be an excalibur 24 |
Just wondering if you ever did buy this boat???????
|
just my 2cents looks like an early magnum maltese

I have pics before I started the restoration in the classic offshore forum under post your old school rides. page 30 number 596. It's since these pics got a new transom, engine bedders, regelcoated bottom, and is almost ready for the first coat of primer. I have a bravo 1 and a mildly built 454 going in it.

All the 24' Eacalibur HID #s were in the upper right hand conor of the transom just under the roll of the hull all started with nap....... The first 24 was named " THE SPIRIT OF '76 " ......... I was insurmentral in building it ...... Thanks, Vince ......Bradenton Fl.
