I'll check the mounting angle. I believe this was a Merc motor because it looks like there is blue paint under the black on the block and heads. I haven't been able to find the engine number tag, but I did find the GM block casting number and the block was made between '91 and '95.

I don't think we'll have it in the water Monday, but maybe if all goes well by next weekend. Right now it has no hydraulic steering and a rather sloppy steering bar, so we'll have to address that before too much happens. Hydraulic steering is on the list for sure, but perhaps not right away. If anyone knows of a good deal on a hydro steering system or some pieces thereof, please pass it along. We have a full fabrication shop here and can handle that stuff.
