Looking for pics of LOTO 1983 Excalibur Hawk 40
 

Below are pics of the original and current paint of my friend's 1983 Excalibur Hawk 40 on Lake of the Ozarks. The older pic was just posted on facebook. The poster does not know where it came from.

Would like to find some older pics of this boat, if possible, whether they be from LOTO, the factory, etc.

That first pic brings back some memories!

Any idea on the year of the first pic? I do not know who actually took the pic and I'm not too familiar with Big Thunder's timeline at the lake.

Bob Morgan bought Big Thunder around 1987. No idea the exact date of the pic.

Edit. Want to be clear that marina was called something else before Bob bought it so the pic is at least from '87 forward.

Cool pix and nice new paint scheme

I sold and delivered my Black 1984 Excalibur Hawk 40 to LOTO in fall of 1993 and at Big Thunder Marine Docks in the water was a Yellow 40 Hawk, pretty sure it was a Kevlar Hull with # 3 Drives looked like this Hawk. Jon

This Hawk had TRS drives and is not Kevlar.

It currently has Konrad drives.

Saw the boat last weekend and couldn't figure out what it was.

Trying to figure out how they did where the windshield went... as i have a 40 hawk as well

I can get a close-up shot of that from the owner if you like.

No pic, but here is what he says about the windshield:

"It just has vinyl wrapped wood over all edges where the old window was so i assume they just removed all mounting hardware and covered it."

It was done before he bought it.

The aluminum race fairing from my old one might be for sale, I think he's cutting the deck off and making it a cc
