Looks great .I had a 27 Excalibur and with a bravo and a 540 I ran 88. I set the X dimension at 19 should have went a inch higher. Boat looks great congrats .
Here's a video of mine I miss that boat! I like the flat deck better then the speedster which I had and the fact that it is a sit down .good luck with it

I used a lot of your notes to get my setup. Did you have a standard lower? I went with 19.5X and a -1 lower. It looks like yours had some more leverage. I have referred to your build several times when saying how consistent the setup is. 2 30+ yr old boats with very similar setups and nearly identical results. Pretty cool!

Sucks to have lost this threads pictures. I finally got the break in oil out, gave everything a once over and made some hard passes. I'm up to 86-87 at 5400. Running very flat and more stable in choppy water. We didn't dyno the 540, but I'm guessing it's making 650ish. The most fun part is the acceleration from 55-75. It pulls really hard through there. Thanks for following the build.

Just realized the pictures are back. Finally got to the trailer... last year. The boat looks a runs great. So much so that a good friend at the lake decided he needed it. It didn't go far and I have first shot to buy it back if he sells it.
This was my last good run in it. My wife was in the boat for the first time in 2 years and finally wanted to go fast. Hard to tell from the video but it is hung out pretty well. Don't judge the choppy throttle. I found that quickly getting the nose back down kept it from getting out of shape, especially with a passenger you don't want to scare. I'll miss this one more than the 40'.

That boat is bad ass man. Wish I would of caught a ride before you let it go. I'm sure it won't be the last. Cheers buddy and congrats on the sell.
