1978 32' Excalibur "Baltimore Vice"

I need help from anyone that may have detailed info on Bill Farmer's 1978 Excalibur series. I would like to find out if the haul of these boats were constructed of KEVLAR. The serial number of this particular boat is NAP04323M78J. This boat belongs to a friend of mine that has been trying to sell the boat. We had a very serious fallout with one buyer that took possesion of the boat and wanted to return it because the seller couldn't prove that the hull was KEVLAR! The buyer refused to pay an appraiser to do a core sample, and the seller felt that he didn't have to prove it to the bastard. I assume the buyer just wanted to part the boat out and make a killin', but the boat is 100% original and it would be a shame to see it scrapped out for parts. It's twin L6 454 engines do need work, but that is all except for a good high power buff job to clean it up. What is the market for these boats? Where do we find info? Anyone interested in buying this beauty? Please help!

Pictures of this boat will be posted shortly. The boat spent some years in Baltimore, but is now located in Southwest Florida near where it was built in Sarasota.

Here are a couple of pictures. When I get better lighting in the cabin I will post a cabin pic. The boat is 100% original, original 70's colors as you can also see. The cabin has barely been used in it's 25 years, so it is very clean inside.

Here is pic2 of the transom/outdrives. (1) brand new "extra" outdrive comes with the boat.

Here is a pic of the Cockpit area. The original colors of the upholstery follow through in the cabin area. Along with the rest of the boat, the "original" teak has been taken care of very well. All the stainless around the boat is original stainless (back when boats were built with real stainless), so you will not find any RUSTY stainless on this boat. Bill Farmer did a fine job back in his day and it shows. This is one boat for anyone that knows about the true craftsmanship that used to be put into high performance boats that you rarely can find anymore. This baby just needs a little T.L.C. to spring back to life.

The price for the boat is 20k or best offer. The engines need 4-5k worth of work, so for 25k you could have an awesome "limited edition" wave cutter. This is one of only a couple of hundred excaliburs made by Bill farmer before Fountain got into the market. Any interested buyers can contact the owner with any additional questions at 941-697-4651. Ask for Al.
