It was marketed by them I guess. I have all of the Excalibur info when Bill Farmer was building them. I never saw that ad. Thanks. I know that Chris Craft used the 31 hull for the stingers. My HIN # starts EX

I thought Excalibur HIN's were supposed to start with NAP. Mine starts with ILZ.

I would be very interested in seeing the Excalibur information you have. Info on them seems to be pretty scarce.

It is buried in some boxes and I have not been able to locate them though I know they are in my storage room in the house. To many papers and I save everything.

SorryI made a mistake on my hin # it starts with NAP and ends with E. I had to go out and look after I saw that it seemed familiar.
RW congrats on the boat I know you will like it where did you move it to?

The Chesapeake Bay. Actually, the South River off the bay. I've had a Nova 250 for the last ten years. Before that a 27' Mach I that went the way of my ex.

The boat is down in Woodbridge, Virginia for now for repairs. I expect it'll spend a couple of months there. I'm pretty psyched about the boat, but the more I look, the more work I see it needs. I guess that's inevitable when you enter on the bottom of the food chain. At least when it's finished it will be the boat I want. The Nova never was.

I believe that Chris Craft did indeed produce the Excalibur in 1980. There were two models, the 310 & 311 it looks like. I have documented three Chris Craft Excaliburs with hull numbers that begin with CCBAG indicating that the boats were built by Chris Craft at their Bradenton, FL plant. The same hull code is used from 1982 on the Chris Craft Stinger 312s - essentially, the Excalibur is a 312 before Dale Murray and Dick Genth bought Chris Craft. You can see examples of the Excaliburs on the galleries page on my website www.chriscraftstingers.com.

Default 1980 executioner

Are you the owner of this 80 executioner? If so do you know how to decode the hull # ? I own one and have started a restoration on it. Looking for other owners that may be able to share info. Thanks Alex , Cigarette 20 is my other boat
