I thought I remembered an earlier post you said 82 MPH.
That boat must have the pad bottom and notched transom.
But still need some real engines to get 82!
TRS with BW trans?

I build engines & rig but thats my baby yes its a pad bottom,notched transom w 500hp 454's trs w b-ws trans needs some more upgrades I'll get to them eventually.

Lake lanier GA . I have a 27' excalihur hull was going to tool a mold but changed my mind. This is definetly a project boat. I'll post some pic if anyone is interested.

I know it has been used for other boats. Let's see the pictures. What parts do you have for the 27 what year.

What props are you running?
What RPM are your engines turning at?
Turning props in or out?

My 84 also has the pad and notched transom.
I am running worked 330 HP 454s making probably 410 HP.
TRS with the Merc transmissions (originally a small block boat).
Props:
Mirage 25 I can get 70.0 MPH on GPS at 5100 RPM
Bravo1 4blade 26 pitch 67 MPH around 4500-4600 RPM
