Those are the pictures of the boat as it sits. Im waiting for the second engine to be long blocked so i can rig it. Most all the plumbing is done. I have to run a couple more steering lines and install new alternators. Tailpipes are being made at CMI. I cant wait to run the boat. Here is one http://www.fototime.com/CA0FC84E1468CC0/standard.jpg |

WOW!
Holy Cow. Mr detail! nice job. Things look a little different than with the "mock up" engines! Looks like like I'll have to be a liitle more anal to be able to have mine look anywhere near as nice as yours! DS |

Re: Didint Make it this season, but here is what ive got.
Mika, dont let it fool you, that is a freshly painted bilge that hasnt seen anytime yet. I have a lot of little detail things to do after everything is hooked up, i will be installing new fuel pumps too, that one looks pretty rough but its borrowed from another engine. Now im trying to decide how the graphics are going to go. Every time we get to the next step to completion we end up taking it further in detail. Thats why it has been almost 3 yrs.
Ill add some more pictures to Webshots. |

Hey EH40,
In your other post you said you are running your X at 18 X 34 with stelling boxes, and imco drives. Are they the shorter IMCO drives? Are your boxes set at the raised or neutral postition? I'm toying with running the IMCO non-adjustable boxes. My X is 18.25" X 34.5" ( 34.5" is because my actuator for the hatch is between the engines, so I can't move them together). Due to the bravo being 2.5 inches shorter than the TRS, leaving the engine CL at the same spot will move up my prop centerline 2.5" and the extensoin box will move it back down an inch. Should i be worried about porpoising, the bow was always tucked in with the TRS drives. Any thoughts? Thanks for your input. DS |
Re: Didint Make it this season, but here is what ive got.
I am running adjustable boxes at the neutral position or the center hole. These are the shorter Imco's to my knowledge. When all is said in done my driveshafts and 4"s in the water. As far as porposing, i have no idea, i have bad dreams about this thing getting up on plane and blowing the props over everywake. I listened to someone that has been in the business 30 years before getting out the saw, and i let him set all this up.
