I was just thinking about those boats the other day. How many pleasure boats are out there?

Mine might be the only one. Crazy Chicken is an open cockpit Extreme but it has been a super successful race only boat for many years, maybe since it was born.

I thought I remember a pleasure boat w/496HO that ran right about 80 MPH.

I believe that was mine originally, but the Crazy Chicken might have had that set up to at first as an F-1 boat maybe? Anyway, mine has a bumped up 525 and has run 94.1. 90+ year round.

Yes the Extreme race boat that Crazy Chicken has now was born as a F1 boat. It was originally rigged with a 496 at lake X and then later to a Tyler motor when the class rules changed.
