Typically, it's the natural color of the resins.
Everything we do here also for tooling is that burgandy red. |
Thanks for the info, where can I find a book on mold building?
|
dave, is this a sit down cockpit or a stand up bolster cockpit? what have you guys found to be people's preference?
|
Dredge, It will be a sit down. It took me awhile to get used to a sit down boat but I really believe they are safer. It's probably a 50/50 preferance. I know when I raced the Cig, it was hard for me to get used to the sit down mode but now, that's the only way I like to be running fast. Of course the enclosed cockpit definately has it's advantages too if they were not so hot. I am working on an ultralite A/C unit for the closed canopy boats. Dave Warden

HOTROD2,
Here's a good start. I'll try to look around to see if there are any decent books on the subject. http://www.netcomposites.com/education.asp?sequence=2 |
glad to hear it'll be a sit down. i agree it's the best way to go. it'll be much more comfortable to drive in the rough stuff.
|
A/C ? What about just a cold air box like you'd run to your helmet ?
|
Rum - It is simular to that. Dave
