Shane, I spoke to dave a few weeks ago... and I gotta agree w/ you, i thought the vortec would be faster.
He also was talking about the drag of the canopy taking away speed.
Anyway... I'm not too sure Extreme will be selling the boat with much more than the 496.

BTW... I'd love to see the 29 when its all done.
I think its the best looking 29 sitdown there is.

Do you have any in-water running shots of the 29 yet? The canopy boat looks awesome running and I'm looking forward to seeing what the open cockpit boat looks like when it's churning up the water.

Is this particular boat for sale? Dare I ask how much?

Hey Jeff, Yes, this one is for sale. No running water shots yet but wish we had a photo shoot on Monday. We ran through some nice water offshore that would have made some great pic's !!! Runs nice in the rough !!!! Flat and level flights. It runs just like the SVL with wind in your face. Dave Call me #727-560-3667

Someone buy that boat! Get it out on the race course, it will definately be competitive and Dave has done a great job finishing it. I can't wait to get my turn behind the wheel....its always good to know what the competition is running :drink:
