Wardey,

Just curious if you would disclose the dimensions on the canopy after it comes out of the mold? Also would you be willing to sell just a canopy cockpit to someone? Any idea on the cost of just the cocpit if sold that way???? Any pics of the inside of the various canopies you have laid up on a few boats. Would lov to see them rigged or unrigged.

Thanx,
DPT

Wardey 02-13-2004 10:37 AM

DPT - Sorry but can't disclose the dimensions or sell just the canopy, but i'll try and find a pic for you. Dave

DPT MOTORSPORTS 02-13-2004 11:02 AM

Kool deal, I am just curious thats all. I have followed these boats for some time and remember sitting in Miklos's boat when it was just a bare hull in ST Pete at the worlds back in 1999. The boat was under a tent along with the Energy Extreme Boat also. After seeing how Rick Turmels boat performed it was a given on how great these boats are.

I was just really curious about one thing. Extreme seems very precise when laying up new boats. How long is the turn around time for a New SVL. I am really thinking the SVL class is going to be the way to go.

Wardey 02-16-2004 06:48 AM

DPT - For a SVL it's about a 3 month build time before it goes to the rigging shop. Thanks, Dave

DPT MOTORSPORTS 02-22-2004 09:33 PM

Any luck on those pics Wardey. Just curious, no rush.

DPT - Here's one I did find of a "ROUGH" pic of the capsole. I don't have any pic's of the finished capsole tho. I will be sure and take some of the current SVL boat we are finishing up as we speak. Dave

Wardey 03-03-2004 02:19 PM

100% Wood Free !!! Dave

DPT MOTORSPORTS 03-04-2004 11:51 AM

Wardey 03-29-2004 07:30 AM

Another SVL boat is ready for the paint shop. Mark is doing the paint prep right now and will be applying the paint graphics this week. I'll post pic's. After that, we will get back to work on the 29' open boats. Dave

DPT MOTORSPORTS 03-29-2004 10:17 AM

Sorry DPT, it was a hush, hush deal there for awhile. It's Kostalac's. He sold his Phantom. Here she is :

Cord 04-15-2004 12:43 PM

Can I please ask what your choice of coring is? Thicknesses?

Wardey 04-15-2004 02:12 PM

Corecell is the choice. Dave

Cord 04-15-2004 02:17 PM

Can I ask the reason why Corecell over a comparable product like Divacell?

Thanks!

Wardey 04-29-2004 06:46 AM

Hey Cord, Corecell has just been a good product. You can order it in different thicknesses and with preferated holes to pull the resin through. Mark orders a complete corecell, mat kit , so to say, for each boat. The material comes in on a palate then you just start cutting the patterns out and start laying it all out. Dave

Re: 29 ' Closed Canopy

Wardey is the Fuel Cell located underneath the Canopy?

Thanks,

DPT

Wardey 06-14-2004 08:35 PM

Re: 29 ' Closed Canopy

DPT - Yes, most of it is under the floor of the cockpit canopy. Dave Warden
