Default Mirror finish drive protection

I'm in need of some product to preserve the sanded and polished surface of #6's and 2.5 lower units. The porosity of the 2.5's seems greater than the 6's.However,the exhaust and heat combination in the 2.5 may make it appear that way.

Art Kern, yes it is the unpainted part. And,yes I have the Motion you may have crewed on.It is still apart, but going back together.New #6's,Penske board transom thickener/shelf combination, added knee brace on each outside stringer,Penske board bonded to the kevlar engine covers, new scoops, new fuel tanks, new canopies, deck hatches, complete new rigging, new interior patterned from our 28 Skater, but advanced, Awl grip paint,$50,000.00 glass work,a patentable dual tandem goose neck trailer and 4 new motors designed by the Dubai race team engine man. However, instinct tells me you deserve the gold star for blue printing the sponsons and deck. You probably deserve credit for more,I just don't know where to look. Please, stay in touch!!!!!

Art Kern,Thank you for the coating information. We will source for it.DFW is the abbreviation for Dallas/Ft. Worth,Texas.DFW also encompasses several other smaller communities for a total population approaching 10,000,000 people. We happen to be located at Springtown, texas and you are always welcome. The short term goal is to make the Motion as pristine as possible without effecting your design. However, the race canopies had been removed before our purchase. Those will not be installed at this time.Mid term:we will test a niche market comprised of associates we have known for many years. We will simply invite them to the lake for a hot dog and a ride if they want.Subject to that and other simple tests, the decision may be to move forward in one or more directions. My son more than I,has always been enthralled with boats. He has his MBA with a minor in engineering.I enjoy anything that requires a challenge and this industry does that. Art,stay in touch

Art, Lloyd-
Not trying to hijack the thread, but Art: what did changing to a 4 person canopy do for Gone Again? Was it handling related or the ability to have 4 people in the cockpit in "near" proximity.

Lloyd and John have done a fantastic and meticulous job restoring the Motion!

Thanks
Due/John
