Default Back of Bolsters fading

I have a 97 Baja with bolsters that have the plastic?/fiberglass? on the back with the metal grab handle. Anyone know the easiest/ best way to get them back to white. Mine are almost yellow...

Give Mr Clean Magic Erasers a try. They've pulled off a few miracles for me where I never thought they would work. If it's fiberglass or plastic thry Aqua-Buff then Dupont Teflon spray on wax. Fiberglass guy at marina showed me this secret. He also shoed me how to use 3M liquid rubbing compund/sealer to clean fiberglass and all the metal, All the stuff he gave me was from a pro detail supplier.

Game, The backing is plastic. You can try what Poorsche suggested but all of them I have seen had to be painted. They were all removed and brought to me so I don't know how they disassemble but it should not be that hard. Even if you do get lucky and polish some of it out (which I doubt) it will happen again since the plastic has no UV protection.

Thanks for the help! My next question is removing them? Custom, I know you said it should not be that hard, but where do I start? Anyone know how?

Game, Let me re-phrase that. It shouldn't be that hard ( if you know what you are doing!!!) When it comes to upholstery work I don't have a clue! That is why I had them brought to me separated. If it was my boat, I would un-bolt it from its base and take it to a good upholstery shop and let them disassemble and reassemble them. That way you know it is done right! Good Luck!

I also have a 97 Baja with faded white plastic. Any help in disassembly of the bolsters would be helpful for me. Somebody has to know how to go about this ??
