Default Spray Gun Recomendation

I know there are a lot of spray guns on the market, but I need to find one under the $150 mark that will do good for both primer and finish coat. Any suggestions? High bills at the house have really droped my tool budget this year...cant believe the price of Natural Gas...

If you want a good one you will need to spend more than that. I can suggest either a "Campbell Hausfeld" or one from a "Home Depot" or an automotive parts store like a "Car Quest" for under $150. They carry half decent ones, but not sure how long the needles or caps will last. I only use top of the line guns so I hope this gave you a few ideas.

Good Luck, Cheers!

OSO member "boatingbent" is an owner of SATA , which is one of the best spray guns there is. Shoot him an email, he may be able to fix you up.

Eastwood Automotive has a set for $125. With a pretty good quality gravity feed gun and a grav feed touchup gun. They are not Devilbiss quality but they seem to work pretty good.

I've purchased from these guys and been happy with the mid-priced Devilbiss, I also have a Sata Mini-Jet that is incredible!

I've got a binks suction feed, nearly brand new with a teflon lined cup that I'd be willing to sell. Can't remember what I paid for it off the top of my head to know what to sell it for, but I'm not using it.

If you buy a cheap gun how are you gonna know if you suck or the gun sucks?

If you buy good equipment and you suck, keep practicing.

How do you think I got to be such a good sander?
