Which color white?

Which color white?
I have decided to use Awlgrip on the sides and PPG for the top.
I want it to be as white as a brand new white rubrail (which I don't have yet.
PPG guys can color match if needed, but I'd rather buy an off the shelf color. I was thinking Awlgrip Snow White would be the one... good choice? Is there a matching PPG?

Re: Which color white?
The Awlgrip guy just told me that Snow White is too white... that, on the water, the glare is blinding and would piss off the other boaters (haha).
He said the latest demand is for Stark or Insignia... they have a little yellow to them.
Decisions, decisions...

Re: Which color white?
Which PPG product you going with? I need to find a clear that I can shoot over epoxy (West System) to keep it from yellowing. It has to be compatable and provide UV protection.
On the hull I decided that I'm going with Interthane. I shot is on a couple of boats in my garage with great results. It's a 2 part linear urethane. Heard horror stories about Awlgrip and it being difficult to shoot. I need easy

Re: Which color white?
yes the rep is right about not having the white to bright. i use only PPG color and my favorite white is 91050 in the fleet color selector. its very clean and goes well with any colors. although in your situation i would choose a color in Awlgrip than get it mached in PPG.

I painted mine with Alwgrip 2000 Snow White and I like it. I also put the new vinyl rub rail and it make the rub rail look like it has a yellowish tint but I couldn't imagine any other kind of white.

Re: Which color white?
I first primed with Awlgrip primer. I used 2 gallons of Awlgrip 2000 paint. After you mix it with the converter it comes out to about 3 gallons. I really could of gotten away with less, but since it was my first paint job I wasted lot. Buy the Awlgrip 2000. With 2000 you are able to color sand and polish and runs are other imperfections.
I would do the whole boat in Awlgrip. The picture doesn't do justice to how nice the paint came out. So far it has been over a year and no spider cracks or anything. If i get scratches from rubbing against the docks I just polish them out with a machine polisher. The above picture is the white primer.
