Flitz Ball ???
I see these things advertised on TV all the time ...even on boating shows (Ship Shape TV). Anyone ever used one? They aren't cheap, Do the do half of what they claim?

Re: Flitz Ball ???
I haven't seen the adds, but I have the ball.
It soaks up alot of flitz for the first time, but then after that it works great. Used it to clean my H.D., when I took it out of storage. I cleaned it in 2.5 hrs rather than the usual 4. I'm happy with it, but it does take a drill with some jam, I used an 18V DeWalt. It works real well on aluminum, and saves a little time on chrome.
Hope this helps.

Re: Flitz Ball ???
WOW, I spent $150.00 with them and this stuff is awesome.
Just used it for the first time last weekend and I am very impressed.
First used it on my four year old aluminum wheels on the Myco trailer that have been dunked in salt water and they look like new. Took about thirty minutes tops to do all six wheels.
Then we have black gelcoat on the sides of the boat new the transom where that the fenders hang over. There were a lot of fine scratch marks in the gel. I have compounded it before and tried 3M Finess, but never got them all out. About five minutes on each side over the black and the boat looks brand new.
I tried it on my Stainless GGB mufflers and did not get the results I had hoped for. They look good, but no better then the with the polish I had been using.
Then I tried it on the trailer fender and was very impressed.
This is good stuff and easy to use in my opinion.
The wife tells me that she has seen the balls for sale in Walmart?
Mine was VERY dirty when I finished with the wheels, but it washed out clean no problem.

Re: Flitz Ball ???
I have used Flitz on my boat in a number of place but never a ball. I have no Idea wha you are all talking about.
I buy it in a quart sized can an brush it on the area I need to buff and then buff that area.
After I have buffed the boat with flitz then I wax and buff as normal.
