Default Filling in transom holes

I'm looking at a one year old Baja and want to change the swim platform from fiberglass to aluminum. The hull is a dark blue. Is it a big problem to fill the old holes and have new ones drilled fo the new platform? How good is the repair usually?

Thanks.

Get a guy that knows his stuff and you will never know they were there. Let them take their time and let stuff cure. If they rush the job you will get srinkage (not what happens to you when you go in cold water!!! )

Southern Georgian Bay. I'm considering a navy gelled Baja but would like the fiberglass platform replaced with their OEM aluminum setup, which has different mounting holes.

Thanks resurrected.

No worries about the time line. I'm more interested in acquiring the boat right now, and will worry about the swim platform over the winter. Just want to make sure it can be done, that's all.
