Best repair method filling thru-hulls Kv Scarab
Converting a 38 KV Scarab to transom pick ups.
Wondering what is best material.
I already have epoxy. I am going to drill dowel and epoxy the screw holes . I will grind from inside and outside, I have done many of this type of repair on regular fiberglass hulls.
Would it be ok to just lay it up with 1 - 1/2 oz Chopmat, or should I get the Kevlar ?
I am aware or the grinding issue and will work that out. Of course I will cover the screws with mat. Thanks, BBB

counter sink the holes before you dowel them. wet them out as well. and i would use bi or tri axcial matting with mat on the back of it along with wests epoxy. you can also mix the resin with their fillets so this way it all cures as one . and then you can just sand flush , prime and then paint.
