Default transom costs.... 32 Baja.

I have a 86 Baja 320 force, I bought the boat a month or so back, I knew it would need transom work, now I hurt an engine and I will be pulling both to freshen them, well I guess this would be the time to do the transom! Anyone have any idea average cost is to do a transom if I remove engines and gimbles myself? From what I can tell the stringers are good, all sound solid with a hammer test, transom is soft between the drives, the rest seems fine also.

Anyone in Northern Ohio???

I would think that if you stripped it totally for a glass guy that you would be looking at about 2-3 grand depending on the extent of the damage.

I will be stripping it all myself, I would be taking them a bare hull, I was all over it today with a screwdriver tapping stringers, somehow they all sound great, all the way to the transom.

Tripps, can't seem to find your thread anywhere. There are a few threads titled "Transom Repair" there?? Can you point me in the right direction? What name do you go by there?
