Its amazing the formula boat looks like the 31 I had in 1992,same colors and all.The sun bleached them out chaulky white. So the imprint is in the plastic itself? looks good I will call you when ready.

there is also a company called superior dash . if you send them measurements they can give you an over lay to what ever spec you give them. theyalso have a barrage of styles and colors of carbon fiber.
there is also plastics, lexan, acryilite, polythane, that have a design like carbon that is fairly easy to work with.

We did my friends out of 3/16th aluminum. Probably should have used 1/8th inch.
I drew it up on in autocadd, and we sent the drawing to another friend that cut it out with the water jet. The water jet is the best for 2d cutouts, very fast and easy.
I work in an electrical shop, so wiring the dash was easy. We just wound up doing the whole boat while we were at it, since nothing was unspliced from the previous owner.
I will try to get pictures from my friend. In the end, an easy project that improved the look of the boat 10x
PS.. water jet can cut pretty much any material cleanly. Find a machine shop with one, and give them a cadd file and I bet its half the cost of cnc milling it.
