My experience with POR15 has been good. I have used it to coat car frames and the pans, axels, engine and engine compartments of restored cars(mine included). Brushed it on and sprayed it as well. That was 7 years ago and so far no rust or peeling. The trick is the PREP. Half azzed prep = half azzed application. You must use their prep chemicals to clean and etch the surfaces to be coated. So far I have had no discoloration and my '64 was finished 7 years ago. No enamel, rattle can or laquer could last as long as this stuff. I would recommend it as long as you prep properly.
