Default Exhaust stains

Not shure where I should have posted this but...I have a molded on swim platform and the exhaust exits under it. The exhaust has stained the gelcote. Any suggestions how to remove the stain and prevent it???

Hull cleaner like Zing or muratic acid dilluted 50/50 with water. Then hit it with Leverage or Rejex.

You may have to wet sand. The acid works good but the stains will only come back faster. I wet sanded mine and used leverage and still looks good a year later.
