I just replaced my fuel filters this weekend and noticed the golden chips in the filters. So now I am in the same situation as you. I am debating putting in Aluminum tanks.

You got some time if there's just a few chips. I'm gonna sit back and wait for GlassDave before I make any decisions. He's a pretty knowledgeable guy. My friend Larry at Extreme Marine knows of a company who has the specs and made bladders for 30 motions and can keep the cost down. Just waiting on Dave first. Did I meet you at Fort Myers beach one sunday when I was talking with Ed? I'm the one with the 30 Motion(obviously) and the 30 Spectre w/IO's.

it starts with the chips floating around, and progresses where the side of the boat will blister and end up costing you ALOT more money to repair.

Stop using the boat and drain the fuel from the tanks.

Ditto on that she will melt pretty quickly and start poppin gel and runnin in the bilge .

Keep me posted on the cost and availiblity of the bladders, I might be interested. Otherwise I am going to have some custom Aluminum Saddle Tanks made.

Is your motion White with Purple interior? If so I remember seeing you a few months ago at FMB.

Yeah I totally agree. I am taking it out one more time to burn up some if not all the fuel then I am going to fix the problem.
