That boat was in indpls. Indiana back in the early 90s. Why are you replacing the tanks, aren't they aluminum? It was built by bob oetringer in lake bluff Illinois. Good luck with the project.

No it has fiberglass tanks which are leaking because of the E85 they are putting in gas now-a-days. Thats the info I'm reading of forums etc. but I'm going to put new tanks in it. Yea I know it came from Indiana but didnt know who built these boats or anything about them.Never even seen another pic of one.

I'll have some time to mess around with some graphics over the weekend. I usually take my laptop out to the lake house with me on the weekends and play around with that kinda stuff

Well heres another update on my project. Haven't had a lot of time to work on it lately but I have cut out the right side floor and I have access to the right gas tank.I removed all the gas out of the tank(it was 3/4 full)I cut the floor at a 45 degree so that when I go to reinstall the section of the floor it will not fall all the way through.(the section I cut out will be re- fiber glassed back into place after the new tanks are installed)Next step will be to cut out the top of the old tank and I will be getting the dimensions for the new tanks.

Today I got home from work and decided to cut the top of the old tank out.Heres a few pics of what I found...Notice the top of the tank that I flipped up and it was swollen up and de-laminating. and the bottom of the tank is slowly being peeled up. Now I dont know what to do about the "joist" that seperate the tank into the 3 different sections... can I remove these? I dont think it will hurt it but I am doing to do some research and asking questions before I do anythign else. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

This pic is after I removed all the fuel.
