Default molded side compartments

How could a guy go about making those side panel compartments for cup holders ,speakers, and such. Making a mold seems real tough.

You've got to check out these guys work... awesome stuff!

I looked at the dodge ver 2 project and got some real good ideas how easy this can be. Time consuming I'm sure, so I bet the price is unreal. I had a guy quote me $4K to custom make me glass boxes like this for my car. I made them myself out of MDF/carpet (no glass) for $100. Now with some glass experience I would definitely give this process a try.

Interesting how the trend is back to the clear acrylic, not hiding the wiring/mechanics anymore.

I'm going to do the side panel compartments over winter this next year.

Foam core and glass over the top. A friend of mine and I just built a complete new hatch like this except that we glassed the underside as wee to give it strength and wow is it strong.

Check out www.fiberglast.com for materials...
