Chris Craft Hull updates

I have a 1986 Chris Craft Scorpion that I am the process of restoring. I had a soft spot in the floor so I removed the seats, flooring, and everything in the v-berth to put new floors in (I couldn't stop myself once I got started). My question is now that I am this far should I put some hull reinforcements in it and how and where should I put them. I am only doing this once so I want it to be strong and right. I have a 454 around 500 hp and a bravo going back in it. Along with some exterior upgrades to update its look. Taking off the SS hardware, making custom fiberglass vents, removing the windshield to build a fiberglass windscreen and finally paint and interior. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

if youve got all the floor off ..... and the motor out
redo the stringers while your there

already have done the front stringers in the cuddy portion. I was just wondering if I should put some extra reinforcement anywhere in the hull or extra stringers for strength. Or could I be just overthinking it.

If the hull isn’t twisting, cracking or buckling then what you had in there is sufficient. Adding more to it will just add more weight. Just use the best replacement material you can get and enjoy the boat for another 24 years.
