Default Spider cracks and pox marks

What is the best way to deal with spider cracks and pox marks? Re-doing a 40 year old boat and there is a lot to deal with. Starting to prep it for paint now.
Spider cracks, do I need to grind the gel coat out and add new glass to make them go away?
What’s the best way to deal with tiny pox in the glass? Something besides finishing putty to fill them because a bondo just rolls over top. Thinking of squeegee’ing liquid glass into them?? Anyone do this before?
