help with muddy water stains..
I have a white hull boat, and we boat in some muddy water, and its stained the bottom of the boat, a brownish color. Is there anything out there that I can remove the stains on the bottom on the boat.

Power 1 from Fountain of Youth works good. Also know guys who use toilet bowl cleaner or muriatic acid.

Fixx
+1 on the toilet bowl cleaner,,the WOKX brand works the best,,buy a few bottles and dump them in a pump sprayer and go to town,,almost works instantly..

power 1 works great, its a little less harsh on the skin than toilet bowl cleaner. both will do the job for you.

I picked up a blue gel product called FRS (fiberglass restoration "something") from West Marine on the recommendation of the sales guy. I could not believe how incredible it was. Wipe it on and let it sit a few minutes, then rinse off. Within 30 secs, you can see the brown/yellow turning white. I thought it was just 26 years of old and could never be white. I was wrong. That stuff was amazing!

BTW - the picture of my boat out of the water was pre-FRS in July. It is white now!

I checked - got the name wrong. It is Davis FSR (Fiberglass Stain Remover)

I use stuff called Iron Out from home depot. Put some in a garden sprayer, add water and just spray it on. Stains just disappear then rinse with water.

I have and use Hula Hull Cleaner. It is non acidic biodegradable and can be diluted. Mixes up to 4:1 goes in a sprayer, sprayed on and wiped or rinsed off after 30-45 seconds of dwell time. Can also be used to remove water spots from fiberglass, windscreens and brightwork.
