http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHWnATfd1pE&feature=plcp hopefully I wont get in trouble for posting this link to my boat, but this is what it looks like altho I have poured the foam since then. |
yes definitely stick (no pun intended lol) with epoxy if you have already started with it. Two layers of 17 would be rock solid, hope you are planning on using a 1700 rather then a 1708 (with stitched on mat) and yes definitely a 45/45 will lay nicely over that.
Great video, you can post links like that no prob. Work looks great. |

Cool,
Never realized the 22's were built like that. |
rte203 , l@@king g@@d and yes the 17 oz bi ax like dave mentioned is a very good fabric to use with Epoxy , and seeing that this is your first time doing this type of work i would like to point out that you should be somewhat careful on how you work or handle this fabric because it can , and will distort very easily .

amen to that RT, but it sure dues work well. I cant understand for the life of me how or why some of these supply places still dont carry it especially when the carry epoxies. Heck it wasnt till about a year ago that US Comp picked it up. 1708 is a total pain to wet out comparatively.
Thought you were gonna call? What up dude? lol  |
