Default Bottom Paint Removal

I have a 1990 formula 242 and was wondering if there was any way to remove the bottom paint other than bringing it to the blaster and spending a ton of money on it. I got an approximate quote of 2000 and i dont see it being worth dumping that kind of money into this boat. Thanks for any help.

I did the fiberglass paint remover way. If he has a better way that would be the way I go. Also it takes time but looks nice when done. Hopefully who ever did it didn't prep the boat well which will make you job easier. If they did like mine where they sanded it to much and you have to put a coat of paint on it let me know and I can help you out.

$2000?! I need to move to where ever you live and blast boats there. It should be around $800-$1200.
