What Color to Paint Bilge
The engines are coming out for bigger hp,I'm going to paint the bilge but not sure what color to paint it. The boat is bright blue with a white strip, the bilge now is gray. Should I paint it blue or white???

How about blue and white.......or all the colors of the boat

if your installing strokers and the blocks DO NOT have one piece rear main seal, correct windage or breathers, paint bilge black so you wont see oil drips

White. Splatter paint went away with the cassette player and personally I would want to see any leaks/drips. Use a quality 2 part system so it doesn't stain.

Jay, When did they do away with cassettes?....Just added a cassette player to my boat. Looks better when you add these.

White is clean and you will know if anything is suspect. |
What the hell are cassettes?? I must have missed something when I was busy rewinding my aerosmith tape that the 8 track ate. You know, scotch tape is pretty good for splices to get all the twists out.

Sorry Brian. I couldn't resist. Let me know when I can pick up the ones in the bottom pic and I will let you splatter my bilge. :drink:
