Bilge Work Question

engines are currently out of our 94 top gun so we are doing some bilge work. In general the paint is in great condition except for some paint chipping in the area where the stringer meets the bottom of the bilge (in the cracks). Can anyone recommend a caulk or sealing adhesive that dries hard to cover the area? I tried life caulk...in short that stuff is terrible. Dries soft and absorbs all the dirt and debris. Looks awful. I already pulled that out. Any suggestions welcome.

Point of clarification to my OP...the paint isn't so much chipping it's just cracked at the joint. Probably from flexing and just old age. I want to seal it instead of sanding and respraying the whole bilge.

thats a tough one. Michigan Fiberglass has a snow white sculpting filler that i like a lot. Cures hard as nails but wont have a gloss. You would still have to shoot a bit of paint on it.

Dave any recommendations for off the shelf sealants? Like 3M 3200? I just need something that dries hard so debris doesn't stick. Need it in white preferably?
