epoxy relies 100% on a mechanical bond i think you really need a chemical bond/weld for acrylic. I've actually tried it on acrylic sanded to about 220 and it had very little bond. For the edge of a surface i dont think you could take advantage of its properties. Just my two pennies

Buy a new one lol. I only say that cause I know there is one at the factory you can get for about $500 new so its a no brainer to me. You will more then likely have that much or more in trying to fix the one you have.

Get a new screen ? If not I have had great success with Weldon acrylic welding agent . As long as the break is clean/ tight when held together , It makes for a strong repair. It chemically welds the pieces together . Its available at plastic/ acrylic shops or the net. I believe the active chemical is methylchloride . I actually had a baja 226 sport with the screen broke in half completely, and with patients fully repaired it .
