Both good ideas! Thank´s, i will try it.

And sure, it´s a bad moment when you have to work same things a second time. I knew it from my first boat... but look back, whatch you´re pictures - you did such a great work!

Time to bring the project back to the front burner. Been a rough 3 years. Now I'm just trying to figure out what the hell my plan was, and where did I store all the stuff that went on or in the boat.

Mocking up the tabs

All the holes in the transome have 3 coats of gel, and the keyhole and exaust holes have a layer of cheesecloth. Seems the exaust and keyhole is usually where all the water gets in.

Fresh transom ready for cutting. Probably one of the scarier thing iv had to do on this boat.

I did at least get to float the thing when i brought it back to the house. Not gona lie, threw some lawn chairs in it and grabbed a glass of bourbon while it was hanging.

Good to see you back on it!

I thought you were having the guys in Bucyrus put it together for you while you shoveled through life?

I just had them spray the other side of the bottom and the transom. And their work ended up not being up to my standards. Had to re do most of it myself anyway.

Hate hearing that Justin.

Yrs ago, in Fla, I was trying to paint my 24’ Sonic, outside.

After getting my ass kicked by the weather multiple times, and laying everything out, prepping, I had enough and went to a shop I trusted, for a quote which was reasonable.

The weather finally broke and I got away w/doing it myself and it came out great!

Couple wks later I was at the same shop for something else and them not knowing my project was finished, wanted to show me the boat they just sprayed.

It was horrible!
Whole thing needed spotted in, wet sanded/buffed and they thought they were done!
Thk God I didn’t have them do mine!

Sucks that you’re going through this but is a common occurrence w/projects like ours.

Once completed you will have a gorgeous, very rare, show piece!

I hope you and Fawn are well and let’s get together to tip a few and swap stories.

Hopefully you’ll be ready to join us next yr on the big lake.

I think I may be to my final yr of the Mrs on the big lake in a small boat 😉
