Default Transom replacement 1995 Webbcraft 252 Help Glass Dave

I am looking for ideas, I have owned the boat since brand new and boat is kept inside out of the elements, I had no idea I had anything going on like this at all, The outdrive key hole was not fiberglassed or epoxied around opening and also my through hull exhaust openings were not either just marine 4200 or 5200 was on them. wood was wet down low. Floor wood looks brand new and so does stringer type wood. I have never glassed before but have read every thread on here and also Iboats. I am leaning towards epoxy because I have no skills at this and also the fumes, I would consider Vinyl ester other then really worried about fumes. I will post pics of the process. My transom was 3/4 wood all the way across and then a center section of 2 3/4" sections along with glass. wondering if I should go thick all the way across or is that just stupid overkill and loss of 3/4" of space and added weight. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Hoping Glass Dave will see this and chime in also

You are a paying member so just click on "Go Advanced" in your posts and that will then show a button for "Manage Attachments" that will allow you to select and upload photos from your computer.

not trying to step on your thread, and if you don't mind me asking another question on your behalf for glass dave ?

dave, could the new transom ply go in only where it actually bonds to the skin of the transom ?
"that upside down arrow head shape and leave the swim platform pods wide open" pic #5 of 6
instead of what you see in pic #2 of 6

thanks

I had blower motor train horn compressor trim tab pump and msd 6 box on that back wall and I really don't have anywhere else to put it. Wood up high was all good and dry wall was very strong but it was only 3/4" ply plus glass on the outsides and had the exhaust going through single ply and trim tabs also screwed to single 3/4" ply so asking for advice
