new boat
iam the new owner of a 2001 formula 280ss
twin 350 mag w/ brovoIII's anyone else have one? it's going to be a long winter :D |
congrats, jim. the new ss is a nice rig. you need to come do some boating down here in louisiana. our mardi gras boat parades are in approx 3-4 weeks (should be between 60-75 degrees). boating will start in full shortly therafter. huge poker run first weekend in may (tickfaw 200). 240 total hands with 174 boats entered. it's great territory for boating and motorcycling - damn near year round.

thank's sounds like a great time wish i had the time to go,may go to new orliens(sp)
in the spring but by plane |
We've got a 2000 330ss with the same engine/drive package in the family. I've logged a lot of hours on it. In fact, the Mrs.'s likes it more than the SR1 due to all its creature comforts. You should have a great time with yours.

Congrats!!! Welcome to the Formula family! 280ss is a nice boat. Twin Bravo III's should be impressive out of the hole. As a fellow Midwesterner, bring on Spring!

See you at the NJPPC runs this summer, Jim? I'll trade a ride in your 280 for a ride in my 382.

Congrats on the new boat! Where are you planning on running it? I assume either the Hudson river or the LI Sound. We've been up the Hudson a few times from Liberty State Park to a little north of West Point. Very pretty ride!
We just bought a 1994 303SR1 and can't wait to use it! Think summer  :D Dave w (toolman) |
