No problem. You buy lunch in Louisville, and I'll get dock space at the Waterfront and buy dinner. :)

mack312 what drive ratio are you running I have same motors in a 303 with 1.5 ratio and 27 pitch 3 blade props. I was going to go to 26 bravos because I thought 28 pitch would be too but now you have me wondering.

S.F.,
1.5 as well. Let me clear this up a little. Formula sent it to me with 30's on it. Is a bit of a pig getting out of the hole but with the 3 of us in it does ok. Get 6 people in it of 4 my size 200+ and I put the 28's on. Once I get the boat over it will take the 30's to 4900 RPM. That's y they went to merc to get the lab work done. Want to see it I can get 5000, 5100 out of them. I think the rev limiter is 5050 ish?
These are Bravo 1 blades. Does the step on the 312 make that much dif?

PS the 28 scream out of the hole!!!

Sorry should say 4 blades

Mack, the Fastech step bottoms make a whale of a difference. I'm sure the newer hulls are lighter than my old tug, also. I have an 89 311 w/454 carbed mags @ 365hp with 1.5 Bravos and I'm doing good to pull 23p Bravo 3 blades. The boat will jump on plane, though - tabs or not. I couldn't even think of running anything higher than a 25p on my rig. I'm at 64.9 GPS @ 4900 - 5000 with me and a buddy (each around 200lbs) and probably 3/4 tank of fuel. I've resigned myself to the fact that it's going to take some engine work to get me into the mid 70's (and then I still won't be satisfied! :D :D :D). Sounds like you got yourself a nice rig.

Croozin2. Thanks! We love the rig. Just got the 30's back from Merc and some lab work. Can't wait for May 1!

On gps without the Lab props we were at 76.8. Another OSO member "Birdog" was on the boat as a witness. He and I are going to empty out everything from the boat, only have a sniff of fuel, and see if we can get to the 80 number WITHOUT doing anything to the motors! Wish me lick! Praying for spring!
