Took the 292 to a local lake evevation approx 5000 ft. Could not get the boat over 60mph running 26 pitch props!! altitude sucks!! Anyone have any advice? I've already ordered header from imco. They claim 40hp increase. Hope that will do the trick.-Nick

There's not much cure for altitude, unfortunately. We have an inboard ski boat with a 320 hp small block in it that we run both here in Colorado and at Lake of the Ozarks. In CO it tops at 43-44 mph, at LOTO it's 51-52.... :eek:
