Musta been in a hurry to suck tail, he didn't cover his brand new boat. Maybe he has an arrangement with Rippem to take care of his boat. Randy, you Dave's new dock boy? :D :D :D Oh boy, that comment will do it...................... Rip will never lift another finger on Axa's boat. :D |

PS nice azzes Are you certain it's drive oil? Is your level indicating loss? If not, it may be spline/coupling grease spinning out past the bellhousing (engine mount) baffle gasket. There's a thin plate bolted up to the inside-underside of the bellhousing. It uses a whimpy cork gasket that gets very soggy over time from grease build-up. If the gasket leaks, the grease will ooze and appear to be oil. Maybe something entirely different, just a suggestion. Plus, if it is that, it's no big deal operationally. Pain to fix but it won't hurt anything (except your bilge tidiness). Bring 'er over, I can have that mo out and on a stand in 45 minutes, I been praticin' baby :D |
Re: yo...axa
WOW...I'm in New Orleans for the weekend and my wife gets a girlfriend??? And she takes her to MY boat? What the heck is wrong with that picture and why didn't I know enough to cancel my trip?
Not really, her and a friend decided to stay a few nights on the boat in my absence. I gave them very specific directions though to "tidy up" after. Thanks Rip for watching out for them and taking them out on what looks like a b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l day. Expected to be there (Friday) tomorrow early evening. Dave |

5PM,
Did you find the leak? |
Re: yo...axa
looked very closely with Ron from Sharps Marine at the area and it ain't engine oil, the drive reservoirs aren't down, trim res level looks good. The only thing that was somewhat low was the pump for the stbd K-Plane. Ironically Monday when I was out I played with them quite a bit to see how the boat reacted. I rarely use them so I'm thinking maybe that was it. Put the boat in at Oswego and got situated on the new dock. Took a blast to mexico point and back with no issues and no leakage. Didn't beat on the Kplanes either. I'll keep an eye on it over the weekend. Count us in if sun night shapes up :drink: :drink: :drink: :evilb: Especially if the too hot lesbos show up!
