311's in great shape seem to be going in the low 40's in michigan
I've been eyeing my buddies. he will sell his at $38k with new manning. only thing making people (and me) second geuss is 660 hrs on the 420's, but they run like swiss watches......

jsut some data for ya.

Your boat looks sweet. amazing what a white rub rail does for perception of model year....

If I was buying .... motor hours would not be a major issue as long as structurely and cosmeticly the boat is what you want ....motors can be fixed or replaced . The price I would pay would reflect the hours ...if the motors last a year or 2 thats a bonus ...

The "420s" were among the best motors Mercruiser has ever put out. All the good stuff inside. I know of two guys that run them and have over 800 hours on them and they run as new.

Somebody told me the 454 Mags were the same as the 420s except the 420s have a single plane manifold, Holley carb, and a bigger camshaft. Block, pistons, crankshaft all the same. Anybody know if that's true?
