Good luck. I think Audiofn snapped up the last used set I've seen............................and that was about three years ago. :(

Re: Any Used Bolsters for sale?

I got probably the only used set of Mcloeds that have ever been sold. Looked for years, finally gave up and when I called a guy that had a Formula sign for sale in chatting I asked him if he could get me a deal on bolsters. He had a used set. :D Still going to cost me a ton. Just so that you know, your boat never came with bolsters. It had pedistal seats. Ataching them can be a bit of a PITA. You can not get under a lot of the floor to put fasteners or backing plates. I would NOT recommend just using wood screws. They will last a while but then when you REALLY need them they may rim out. There is a metal (alluminum) plate under the floor were your pedistals were bolted but it will not I believe line up were a dual leg set will land. My bolsters have a single leg. They will bolt to the cover over the gas tank. I plan to use a 1/4-1/2" piece of stainless plate to back up btwn the floot and the leg. This I can be confident will never rip out. The sides will bolt up to the cockpit side. Hope that helps

wonder if in Dregsz's application he could bolt a stainless plate to the metal where the old pedistal's set ...then the bolsters to the stainless ...maybe powder coat the new bracket to blend with the floor ....if it is attached to the sides alos should be a strong mount ...

Re: Any Used Bolsters for sale?

Are you looking for new bolsters, or original bolsters?

Re: Any Used Bolsters for sale?

I'm looking for inexpesive bolsters that can look great with new upolstery.
I'll figure out the bracketry etc involved in hanging them, that's not an issue.

Thanks
Evan
