Sun Pad Pics for a 357

Im re-doing my cockpit and im not sure if the sunpad is stock, if someone could post some pics, all the different angles, and pad styles, that would be great, its for an 87' so i assume anything close to that year would work.

mine isn't stock--we did away with the three headrests and just rolled the front edge. I can get better pictures from machine at home if you wnat them.

Speaking of Sunpads ...... "when" i rework mine .....I am thinking of doing away of the Upholstery ..reworking the hatch so there would be carpet on the top instead of a pad ....Fiberglass around the carpet (picture frame) it could be regular jell or no skid ...3-6" .. then the carpet could have a logo or something embroidered's in ... I know it would be more money ...but would be different and you could have people step or walk on it with freaking out ....... any thoughts ??????

With the limited cockpit space of our boats, we use the sunpad as additional seating when we're anchored. I think a carpeted hatch would be uncomfortable.

A couple of friends had sunpad covers made out of sunbrella to keep it from getting soaked when when people are coming in from the water and to keep kids crumbs (and juice box spills, etc) out of the seams. They look good and are still comfortable and attach to existing snaps.

If you use sunbrella be thoughtful about color. Yellow fades quickly, darker colors like navy blue and black get so hot they are painful even to step on.

I'm making a grey sunbrella cover that will use the morring cover snaps but will just cover the pad and rear seat. The diesel lift in the stack storage building dumps soot everywhere and the birds crap on everything in there--so that's my solution.
