Keep the windshield!

Windshield. I think a Formula doesn't look right without a windshield, it looks like it's a wannabe Cig. :(

Re: Fairings revisited

Agreed. To me they look like a Formula without a windshield, rather than a boat with a fairing. The dash is all wrong for a fairing.

Fairing. If you have a windshield then you need wipers too.

You'll need a Bimini with a Fairing-

Windshield!
I agree some boats don't look right with a windshield, but a Formula doesn't look right without it.

One the newer ones I like the windsheild MUCH better. I like my older 302 better with the fairing that I made. My Brother likes it better with the windsheild....  Seems to be a toss up.

Oh Ya If they break it sounds like you will have to figure out a fairing as the glass seems to be made of unobtainium

Windshield, When I Was Calling Around About Insurance My Agent Asked Me If It Had A Windshield, Does A Fairing Count As One Or Would That Make The Premium Higher If You Dont Have One?

Never had an insurance company ask if I had a windshield!! Wonder if this is something new on the insurance front.

Looking at those photos....I would have to say that you should have the same graphics on both sides of the boat. :D :D :D :drink:

Nort,

Thanks for noticing!

The first shot is when I first bought the boat from your buddy Jeffrey. Wish we could have met up when I made the trip out to pick it up in CA, but I wasn't an OSO'er then.

It still had AZ numbers on it then, now has fed doc "RED DOG" on the bow instead of OH numbers. I am missing the small Poker Run Special Graphic on the port side ... story is it got brushed by a fork lift in a dry stack somewhere out there. I just haven't had time to get it replaced.

I'll put that on my winter to-do list. :D

Not planning on putting the fairing back on at this time, just stimulating conversation in the Formula section.

Anybody know where to get one for an 03 353? It may become a P class boat.

Donzilla-

I don't think one was ever made for a 353. I talked to someone at the factory a few years ago abd he said they were not availible. You could alway make one.....
