Value of a 1987 357 (project boat)

Just got a 357, in need of a little TLC, all the upolstry is there but needs to be redone, boat is in pretty good shape, needs wax, motors rebuilt 3 yrs ago, but havent been started in 2 yrs, 420HP 454's with one TRS drive, 3 Uppers, and 1 bad TRS drive, whats this boat worth, thinking about getting out of it for a non project boat

Before I saw Thirdbird's reply I was thinking well under 20k. I agree the lower teens to get it to move.
Good Luck.

I paid mine 10 000$+ 2400$ shipping. it's an 85. cracked bellow and sank at the dock but just the back end. engines and wire no good anymore, but transmissions and transoms and gimballs good. I had the TRS drive checked by merc dealer and rebuild (1500$)it even if they were fine. If finally striped the boat completly and i'll switch to bravo drive. I never tought to strip it completly so maybe I paid 2000 to 4000$ to much. But I figured it would not make such a big difference once totally refurbished.

I think you would have a hard time getting 10 grand for it. You best bet at this time may be to part it out.

After seeing the pics I have to reduce my original assesment. It looks like you basically have a bare hull and some parts sitting in a garage somewhere. Your going to be in the hole on this one no matter what you do. Sell it like it is.....loose money, restore it to great condition and use.....never get what you put into it. Either way, your in the hole.
Good Luck

Sorry Boomer35.......Thought that was yours.

I would guess around $10,000 at the absolute best.
