one vs. the other

I am currently looking at a 303 model formula.Does anybody know the difference between this and a311sr?

The 303 has the molded in platform and measures 30'3" overall. The 311's platform is not molded in so they measured the boat with out the platform at 31'1' overall it is 33'1". So the 311 is 3' longer than the 303. I have drove both and 311 has a much better ride than the 303. That is why I bought mine. Hope this helps.

Re: one vs. the other

I also considered both before I bought my 311. The 303 didn't seem that much bigger that my then-current boat, a Wellcraft Nova II. (I will say the head is in a much better spot in the 303 compared to the 311.)

Probably a better comparision would be a 336 and a 311. I would have got a 336 but the marina where I rack store my boat will only accept boats up to 32' long. As Don pointed out, the 311 is actually 33' long but it is listed at 31'. The 336 is also 33' long but my marina said they couldn't accomodate it. Go figure.

They must not have made a lot of 303's, I've only ever seen one in person.
